1. Booking Confirmation
Your booking is subject to availability and is only considered confirmed when you receive the official confirmation from Varahasawamy Guest House. If there are payment terms, these will be shared with you at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation by Guest
If a guest wants to cancel a booking that has already been confirmed, the guest must get in touch with us either by phone or email. The guest must make a cancellation request within the time limit that was communicated to the guest at the time of booking.
If a cancellation is made during the allowed period, the guest may get a refund, but it is subject to the payment of the charges applicable.
If the cancellation was done after the allowed period or if it is a no-show case, the guest will not be given any refund.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds, if any, will be given to clients after deducting any cancellation or service charges that may apply. The company will send the refunds using the original method of payment.
Kindly be informed that the time frame of the refund may vary depending on the payment method and the bank processing.
4. Modification of Booking
If you wish to change your booking details, such as the guest or the dates of your stay, your request shall be subject to prior approval by Varahasawamy Guest House and the availability of the respective dates. Based on your change request, there may be extra charges that you need to pay.
5. Cancellation by Varahasawamy Guest House
Varahasawamy Guest House might have to cancel a booking in exceptional cases, such as when the property is under maintenance, it is unsafe to stay, or it is out of the control of the Guest House. If the Guest House cancels the booking, a full refund of the amount paid, if any, will be made.
6. No-Show Policy
When a guest does not turn up for the check-in on the date promised and no prior cancellation has been made, the situation of a no-show may be assumed by the management, and in such a case, the guest will not be entitled to any refund.
7. Force Majeure
The Guest House will not be responsible if a guest cancels his/her stay or demands a refund because an event that is beyond the control of the Guest House has happened, i.e. natural calamities, government restrictions, strikes or any other events.
8. Policy Changes
We may at times make changes or add further details to our Cancellation & Refund Policy without informing customers in advance. The updated policy will come into effect immediately upon publication on our website.
